Bamboo Teri House

That girl loves a good strip mall. Bamboo Teri House is a hidden little gem chock full of Japanese delights. I've been going to this place since my days at Poly High, when I had a couple of friends who worked there. During "hell week" of one of our school sororities, it is rumored that many a hopeful sister had the unfortunate fate of being doused with BBTH teriyaki sauce. Ah, memories.
Boyfriend went for the three item combo. California rolls, yakitori chicken skewers and tempura shrimp were his choices, served with salad, rice and the most yumalicious oniony noodles you've ever put in your mouth. Just trust me, these noodles will change your life.I decided to try their version of curry rice and was slightly disappointed. Maybe I'm just used to the box mix or Hurry Curry but I like my curry very hot and spicy and this was super mild. Not bad though and quite filling. My only issue with this place is they can't decide what kind of restaurant they are. For years you ordered at the counter, got a plastic number and your food was delivered to your table. Then they went to table service. Now I guess they only do table service after 5:00pm, but it's quite spotty and slow, albeit super nice. Just call your to go order in and eat at home. Then you can saunter into a noodle coma in the comfort of your own sofa.
